Nancy Burden and Kay Lester will bring the Grand Door Prizes for our April Tournament
We are happy to welcome our three (3) guests that came to our March Tournament. They are: Richard and Deanna Adams. Richard and Deanna are transferring out of the Metro Chapter and are trying out the different Chapters to see which one they want to transfer to. We hope they enjoyed themselves enough to join our Chapter. Our third guest was Patricia Davis brought by Claire Smith. We hope to see Patricia at future tournaments as a member.
It was decided that we should have a Rule for our Brackets Side Pot. A motion to have non-members establish an average after they have bowled two (2) bowling sessions in brackets and bowl more than 10 pins over their average. This will give them a brackets average and keep it more even in conjunction with the members.
Another standing ovation to the Arlington Moos Lodge. They donated $600.00 to our 2010 Charity Fund. Thank you so much Arlington Moose Lodge! We appreciate it!
A special congratulations to our Lady Buzzards who placed in the top 10 in their division in the Fort Worth Annual Women's Championship Tournament: Division 3 Doubles (3rd) - Hele Graham/Mary Shipp; (9th) - Nancy Burden/April Penick; Divison 2 Doubles (4th) - Karen Holder/Melissa Keichline and All Events (7th) Karne Holder. Nice going ladies! .
The Annual Tournament is fast approaching! The entry forms are here. Team Captains only will be getting the packets. Start forming your teams! Remember, you can bowl on more than one team, but you can only enter Singles and Doubles once. This year, we are offering pre-order t-shirts. This will allow members to have more of choice of colors and sizes. Pre-orders will be allowed to have their name put on their shirt, for a nominal extra fee. Also, Pre-Orders only will get a free raffle ticket to be put into the drawing for a $150 American Express Gift Card. There are two (2) styles of shirts.
